The contenders scramble to survive a new phase of the game as one player makes a heartbreaking decision and a tumultuous duo tries to regain control.

Challenge: Dark Tide
Played as individuals with five players competing per round, players will begin strapped to a moving speedboat. They will randomly be ejected into the water and must swim to their own paddleboard. Using their paddleboard, they must collect three rings in the water and return to shore. Once on shore, they must toss one of their rings onto their assigned post for their time to be stopped. The player to toss a ring onto their post the fastest wins, while the player to finish in the slowest time is eliminated.

Conquest Elimination:
Players must race to complete three stations, each consisting of an obstacle and a puzzle, in any order that they choose. Upon completing each station, they must retrieve a flag and return it to the start. The first two players to complete all three stations win.
- Station 1: Players must cross a balance beam and then form six three-letter words on a ring puzzle.
- Station 2: Players must crawl under a cargo net before arranging a puzzle in which all stacks of colored discs must be the same color.
- Station 3: Players must scale a high wall before solving a sudoku puzzle.
