With a mind for matchmaking, Sylvia plays the role of professional love-guru, uniting people every day as a wedding planner. Hoping to take her passion to the next level, Sylvia is desperate for a win, stating, "Winning this money would be all I need to get myself in the direction that I want to go, which is having my own event space." After entering the game with a few other Real World: Skeletonscastmates, she quickly finds herself pitted between old allies and new faces, hell-bent on betrayal. Will a more serene Sylvia prevail over the tear-inducing politics, or will mind games have her backstabbing some of her closest friends on the way to the Final?
Sylvia recorded some wins during her inaugural Challenge stint but has yet to make it to a final. And her game might suffer because of her relationships with past Skeletons housemates Tony and Nicole Z. An Invasion of the Champions rewind: She gave into peer pressure and voted Tony into elimination (despite their pre-existing friendship). Can Sylvia mend the broken bonds with her old roommates, or will she need to look elsewhere for alliances to keep her safe in the game?
Sylvia and Joss were initially good friends during his rookie season, The Challenge: Vendettas. That bit Sylvia in the butt when Joss voted her into elimination, leaving her shocked and heartbroken. Sylvia won the elimination, but was sent home due to an illness and she and Joss have yet to bury the hatchet.
Sylvia did not participate in the "Gasping for Air" challenge after being deemed too sick to play and her Grenade from the "Oil and Water" Ring was declared unusable as a result. Prior to the "Puppet Master" challenge TJ announced that Sylvia was deemed unable to continue in the game.
