Newcomer Sarah claims that her main reason for joining the cast of The Real World: Brooklyn was so she could eventually compete in a Challenge. Sarah is a self-proclaimed "social outcast" who graduated high school early and spent time studying at Oxford before settling in San Francisco and exploring her bisexuality. She hopes to use her artistic skills to help victims of sexual abuse and works to keep up a cheerful demeanor no matter what the circumstances. Will Sarah continue to be the outcast in Thailand? Or will her nice-girl personality be an asset for her amidst The Ruins?
Fresh Meat II
After making an impressive debut season on The Ruins where she made it to the Finals and almost took home the grand prize, Sarah is lusting for a win. Once a humble rookie, Sarah's near-victory has given her a remarkable confidence that some may view as cocky. Last seen crushing on Kenny in Thailand, Sarah swears that they are just friends and close allies. Knowing that there could be a swarm of strapping young hotties in the house, Sarah teases, "I'm single and I might be looking to mingle!" But will Sarah's focus be on winning a new man or winning the game?
Back for her third competition, Sarah explains her lessons learned, "First Challenge, I learned confidence, making it all the way to the end. Second Challenge, I learned humility, getting sent home second. And this Challenge, hopefully third time is a charm and I'll win!" Winning aside, this adrenaline junkie from Real World: Brooklyn comes back because she loves competition, whether she is jumping off of high buildings or holding her breath under water. This time around, Sarah will be pushed to her limits because Cutthroat is the most intense and extreme Challenge to date!
The last time we saw Sarah, she was puking from heat exhaustion during the Cutthroat final, before being whisked away in an ambulance. However, the Real World: Brooklyn housemate is nothing if not driven and she wants another crack at victory. But Sarah can sometimes be her own worst enemy, and her tendency towards over-confidence could spell her downfall. And when Sarah is paired with a notoriously under-confident and unproven partner, will she manage to keep her cool? One way or another, Sarah will have her work cut out for her this season.
Battle of the Exes
Vinny and Sarah hit it off on Fresh Meat II, hooking up in a hot tub and between the sheets. As Sarah put it, "He was a one-night stand that lasted two or three nights longer than it should have." On Cutthroat, Vinny called Sarah a loser for voting him into the Gulag, where he eventually lost and went home furious at her betrayal. Now, Vinny will tell you, "Outside of this game, we are not friends at all!" Vinny returns to the Challenge huskier, but still with his trademark brash confidence, boasting, "I think Sarah would definitely still hook up with me - if I won a Challenge for her." But Sarah has a totally different plan, professing, "There is no chance whatsoever, in any parallel universe, that Vinny and I will be getting together. He was a selfish lover." Tempers are certain to flare when these bickering lovebirds are forced to reunite.
Battle of the Seasons (2012)
The self-proclaimed "oddballs" of Battle of the Seasons, Team Brooklyn combines political savvy with an uncanny ability to unite despite their rocky past. As Chet notes, "I can't say that I love every single person on my team, but I can go play these games and just leave that in the past until we win the money." Like teammates Chet and JD, Sarah is a Challenge veteran and hungry for a spot at the top of the podium, stressing, "This is Challenge #6 for me. Sure, I've made it to some finals, but I've never won. I just want to win." Sarah may have the strength and desire to propel her team to the Finals, but she risks losing her laser focus when she begins a romance with one of the toughest players in Challenge history. Brooklyn's wild card comes in the curvaceous form of rookie player Devyn, a former beauty queen who may be more concerned with her beloved $1,000 wigs than trips to the gym. Though she may wear dresses and heels around the house, Devyn is excited to rediscover her inner athlete, explaining, "They see this girlie girl, but I took flying lessons, wakeboarding lessons, skiing lessons!" Is Brooklyn's newfound unity strong enough to weather the storms of The Challenge? Or will this team crumble under pressure?
Sometimes opposites attract, but that's hardly the case with these two savvy vets. SoCal surfer girl Sarah is the picture of kindness and Zen, while Trishelle is a whirling dervish of drama that knows no boundaries. Sarah explains, "After seeing the way she handles conflict, I get why we're rivals. We are polar opposites." While most folks see Sarah as a comforting, mature presence in the house, Trishelle isn't buying her nice-girl act, noting, "What rubs me the wrong way about Sarah is that she's so upbeat in a very weird way that I think is phony." Rivals II marks Sarah's seventh Challenge and she is determined to change her fate and finally notch a win, but look for Trishelle to make a shocking decision that sends ripples through the entire game. Can these two put their animosity aside? Or will Sarah's Challenge curse rear its ugly head one more time?
Battle of the Exes II
Jordan and Sarah may be an adrenaline-junkie Challenge pair made in heaven. This duo had instant chemistry on Rivals II, resulting in the steamiest closet make-out session ever. However, their passionate tryst was cut short when Sarah's Challenge 'curse' reared its ugly head and she was sent home after her partner quit. Now, Sarah's famously optimistic attitude will be put to the test when she must deal with Jordan and his notorious ego. Sarah reveals, "Although Jordan has a reputation for getting under people's skin, if he just sits back and lets me run things, then we will have a smooth ride to the finish line." Jordan admits, "I'd probably say I was pretty cocky. I'm really competitive and just have a drive to always want to do well and perform." Will Jordan check his ego at the door and hand over the reigns to the Queen of Enthusiasm? Or will these daredevils crash and burn?
Bananas wounds are still fresh from the vicious backstabbing he received at the hands of America's favorite optimist, Sarah, on Battle of the Exes II. The Queen of Enthusiasm is back and looking to re-claim her Challenge crown, but knows it won't be easy with a salty and scorned partner. She reflects, "I'm not working with a man. I'm working with a little boy and the little boy is having a temper tantrum! In order for Bananas to win, he's gotta let everything go." Once you've peeled a banana, though, you can't just put it back together! Bananas laments, "There's no way that I'm gonna be able to forgive her." Will Sarah be content letting Bananas make team decisions when she just proved how devastatingly successful her methods can be? And can Bananas patch up his tattered ego in time to get his head in the game?
