A quit or withdrawal is a method of elimination in which a contestant removes themselves from the game by their own choice. Contestants may opt out of the game for any reason whether it be an emergency, personal, or that they no longer wish to continue. Host TJ Lavin is well known for his dislike of quitters, feeling that contestants will regret their decision upon leaving the game. Contrary to popular belief, quitting does not guarantee that a contestant will not be called back.
Since Free Agents it has been a rule that all finalists must complete the Final Challenge in order to receive any potential prize money.
