Nehemiah's story is a combination of heartbreaking and hopeful. Born to a mother who is currently in rehab, he was forced to grow up quickly and become a survivor. Despite seemingly endless challenges and disappointments, Nehemiah is a bright, charismatic young man who has the wisdom and experience of someone far beyond his years. Although we didn't see much of that in Austin -- when he could have used his experience to create a promotional video for SXSW, he opted to spend more time napping and partying, leaving the bulk of the editing to his roommates. It's a good thing this Challenge is every man for himself.
The Gauntlet III
Nehemiah found moderate success on The Duel, but mostly found himself teased when he took on the surprising role of best friend "Tenderoni" in Beth's life. It's a topic he'll be happy to forget -- especially with Beth in Mexico with him and all the other hot Rookies he has his eye on.
Rivals
Since we last saw Nehemiah on The Duel II, he has been traveling the world and performing with his band. He returns to the game with a fresh outlook and a chiseled body. "This time is going to be a little bit different. I'm in a lot better shape than I was before," Nehemiah explains. A bigger concern for Nehemiah will be getting along with his rival partner. Nehemiah worries, "I'm pretty spiritual and he plays the game very shady. It's going to be very interesting how we match up." Nehemiah may act calm and collected, but will tensions with his partner cause him to lose his trademark Zen cool?
Before any challenges took place, Adam and CT were both disqualified from the competition after they engaged in an ugly brawl. Nehemiah and MJ were brought in as replacements.
