Michael Gregory "Mike" "The Miz" Mizanin is a contestant from The Real World: Back to New York. He is the champion of Battle of the Seasons (2002) and The Inferno II, and was a finalist on The Gauntlet and The Inferno. He also competed on Battle of the Sexes 2.

Then: Mike was known as the naïve boy from Parma, Ohio. His racial comments early on in the season offended Coral and put them at odds.

Now: Mike now lives in LA and has begun a successful stint as a professional wrestler for UPW. He has also been doing a lot of charity work for the Elizabeth Glazier Pediatric Aids Foundation.

Relationships: Mike recently broke up with his girlfriend and is now single. Previously, he hooked up with Tara on the Battle of the Seasons and is keen on the friends with benefits, no-commitment hook up.

Best Known For: Coining the phrase "panty-droppers" and changing into his wrestling alter ego, The Miz. "Are you r-r-ready?"

Hottest Pre-Inferno Moment: Hooking up with a girl on every Challenge he's been on, most recently, Trishelle from The Gauntlet.

Loose Ends: When this wrestler-in-training and "team leader" talks, everyone listens. He pissed off Coral on the last Challenge, when he voted her to the Gauntlet instead of Trishelle. She felt betrayed, even though he thought he did what was right for the team, but their friendship was damaged in the end.

High: This WWE wannabe is always a strong team member and leader. A brawny guy, Mike proved he had some brains when he helped solve a puzzle that led his Battle of the Seasons team to victory.

Lows: Losing The Inferno and The Gauntlet. The Gauntlet was also where the breakdown of his relationship with Coral began. Will it be repaired by this Challenge?

Relationships: Mike likes to date girls on the Challenge and so far has hooked up with Trishelle and Kendal, both relationships ending badly. In addition, his once strong friendship with Coral could possibly be weakening... Mike wasn't "her homie" when he voted her to The Gauntlet.

The Good: Always a leader and motivator, Mike has proved he has the brains to match his brawn.

The Bad: Mike has hooked up on every Challenge except for BOTS2, where he turned into a mediocre performance and was voted off early. Could hooking up be the key to his mojo?

The Ugly: Maybe it's the fire or the Mexican heat but there's something about the Inferno that makes people a little crazy. Remember when The Miz lost it during Kendal's Inferno against Leah? Good times!

Before evolving into "The Most Must-See Superstar in WWE History," Mike Mizanin broke out on MTV's The Real World: Back to New York, introducing his alter ego, "The Miz." An MTV stalwart for several years, starring on several Real World spinoffs, Mizanin was offered a WWE developmental contract after placing second on WWE's Million Dollar Tough Enough in 2004. Over the next decade, 'The Miz' climbed through the ranks to become one of the most recognizable faces in WWE. Mizanin is a former WWE Champion, two-time United States Champion, six-time Tag Team Champion and a seven-time Intercontinental Champion. He is the 25th Triple Crown Champion in WWE History, only the 14th Superstar to complete the Grand Slam and main evented WWE WrestleMania 27 opposite John Cena and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. During his tenure with WWE, Mizanin has starred in the third, fourth and fifth installments of The Marine film franchise, where he plays the grizzled veteran Jake Hunter. He has also starred in the comedy, Santa's Little Helper as well as the ABC Family original movie Christmas Bounty.

Post-Challenge[]

Mike competed on Bravo's Battle of the Network Reality Stars alongside Coral Smith, Melissa Howard, and Theo von Kurnatowski. He was a member of the Dark Blue Team, and they lost the final challenge.
Mike appeared in the sixth season of NBC's Fear Factor where he was partnered with Trishelle Cannatella. They ended up winning the final prize.
Mike attended The Real World Awards Bash in 2008.
Mike served as the host for the Battle of the Exes, Invasion of the Champions, Dirty 30, Vendettas, and Champs vs. Stars 2 reunions. He and Lolo Jones co-hosted the War of the Worlds reunion.
Mike served as the host for Champs vs. Stars 1 and Champs vs. Stars 2.
Mike and his wife, Maryse Oullet, currently appear on the USA Network's Miz & Mrs. as main cast members.
Mike co-hosted the USA Network's Cannonball alongside Rocsi Diaz and Simon Gibson.
Mike competed on ABC's Dancing with the Stars 30 with professional dancer Witney Carson. They were eliminated in ninth place.
Mike participated in the special six-part documentary series, The Challenge: Untold History, in 2022.
