Evan Starkman is a Fresh Meat contestant drafted by Coral Smith. He is the champion of The Duel II and The Ruins, and was a finalist on The Gauntlet III. He also competed on Fresh Meat, The Duel, and Rivals.

Evan is a natural flirt and can't seem to help himself when it comes to sweet-talking the ladies, despite the fact that he has a girlfriend (yet another way he seems to constantly get himself into trouble). A dominating force on the playing field with an over-the-top winning personality, Evan is determined to plant a Canadian flag for Challenge victory.

He took home the $100,000 grand prize on The Duel II and now Evan will try and do it once again on The Ruins. A master strategist, this charming Canadian has perfected the art of smiling in your face, while stabbing you in the back. Not only is Evan smart, but he is a beast during competitions, able to muscle through his opponents. After getting his start on Fresh Meat, where he was paired with Coral, Evan tends to balance more alliances than anyone can keep track of in the game. Will Evan be able to pull everyone's strings once again in Thailand? Or will his multiple manipulations finally catch up to him in The Ruins?

Famous for snatching the championship belt away from Brad by mere seconds on The Duel II, Evan marks his return to The Challenge claiming to be, "A little older and a little wiser." But this veteran competitor has made more than his share of enemies during his dominance on multiple Challenges and there are many players who would consider Evan a rival. So what is Evan's reaction when he discovers who his rival partner is? Evan confesses, "If he were to fall off a tall building and I was the only one to see it, I wouldn't tell anyone." Despite his less-than-thrilled reaction to his partner, never underestimate this Fresh Meat master manipulator.

Evan & Coral were medically disqualified from the game prior to the "Batten Down the Hatches" challenge due to both of their injuries. Evan suffered a ruptured hernia following the "Crossed Paths" challenge and defied doctors' orders by remaining in the game.

Evan and Paula Meronek served as commentators for the Spring Break Challenge.
Evan appeared on the television special, We <3 Diem, in 2014 to honor the life of Diem Brown.

Controversy[]

In October 2011, Tonya Cooley filed charges that she was raped with a toothbrush while passed out by Evan and Kenny Santucci during filming of The Ruins. The case was settled in an out of court settlement on October 24, 2012. The details of the settlement have not been made public.
