Coral Jeanne Smith is a contestant from The Real World: Back to New York. She is the champion of Battle of the Seasons (2002) and was a finalist on The Gauntlet, The Inferno, and Battle of the Sexes 2. She also competed on Fresh Meat and The Gauntlet III.
Biography[]
Battle of the Seasons (2002)[]Retrieved from MTV.com Best Known For: Hating, then loving her partner in crime, Mike. Outlook: Coral's a fighter and she's not going to let her team lose. Plus, she's been desperate for some kind of lovin' or action in the romance department. She may be the sleeper in this whole thing. Previous Record: (Out of 5 stars) Crying: * Fighting: ***** Hooking Up: **** Athletic Ability: * (Ratings are based on previous seasons and are relative to other RW/RR cast members.)
The Gauntlet[]Retrieved from MTV.com Then: She quickly developed an intense dislike of Mike because of his small-town mentality but they became buds by the end of the season. Now: After winning $50,000 on the Battle of the Seasons, Coral has been busy starting a non-profit group to supply shoes to the homeless and she volunteers as a rape crisis counselor for a women's shelter group. Relationships: She's been dating someone on and off for about a year, but maintains that as of late it hasn't been "too juicy." Best Known For: Stinging one-liners ("Jisela, you need to get off the ho-train."). Being a major bee-atch when she feels like it.
The Inferno[]Retrieved from MTV.com Hottest Pre-Inferno Moment: Rumored to have hooked up with Road Rules Theo, but we just don't have the proof. Damn! Loose Ends: During The Gauntlet, team members tended to be afraid of Coral and disliked her negative attitude. Her best bud "The Miz" even voted to send her to the Gauntlet, which left this feisty chick feeling betrayed. While she didn't perform well in missions on The Gauntlet, don't forget she was the biggest winner on Battle of the Seasons, taking home $50,000.
Battle of the Sexes 2[]Retrieved from MTV.com High: Coral plays these Challenges very well and always manages to make it to the final team -- even though everyone agrees she uses manipulation to get there. We know she's smart but she proved she's athletically strong on The Inferno, winning the Lifesaver several times. Lows: Getting bit by a spider and being unable to complete the final mission at The Gauntlet, which caused her team to lose and ultimately created a rift between her and her BFF, Mike. Relationships: There are lots of people who don't like Coral but most people are too chicken to stand up to her (except Julie, who challenged her to a wrestling match). We want to see the softer side of Coral this time... a romance maybe?
Fresh Meat[]Retrieved from MTV.com Coral plays these Challenges very well and always manages to make it to the final team -- even though everyone agrees she uses manipulation to get there. We know she's smart but she proved she's athletically strong on The Inferno, winning the Lifesaver several times. Her getting bit by a spider and being unable to complete the final mission at The Gauntlet caused her team to lose the final mission. There are lots of people who don't like Coral, but most people are too chicken to stand up to her (except Julie, who challenged her to a wrestling match). She's not apologizing either, and says, "I play the game the way I play the game and everybody can kiss my ass." But Abe brought out her softer side during Battle of the Sexes 2. After a break from Challenges will we again see a softer Coral? Or will she be back and bitchier than ever?
The Gauntlet III[]Retrieved from MTV.com Coral's notorious ability to form alliances has carried her to many a Challenge Final. Remember when Alton saved her over The Real World: Chicago's Theo during the first Gauntlet? That's a mistake that came back to bite them, literally, when a spider bite prevented Coral from completing the Final Challenge. After taking a few Challenges off, does Coral have enough connections to coast to the cash again? |
